FIELD: displaying coder-supplied bit streams.
SUBSTANCE: bit stream conveyed by coder for 2m-fold modulation is divided into first period and second period. First period incorporates bits of higher priority in bit stream conveyed by coder and second period includes lower-priority bits. Proposed method and device are used to display bits available in first period at bit positions of higher reliability in stream of m bits presenting each of bits for 2m-fold modulation, and to display bits occurring in second period at bit positions of lower reliability in stream of m bits.
EFFECT: reduced intermediate frequency of bit error and that of burst error of data train generated upon decoding in communication system.
