GUIDE FURROWS FORMING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for forming and using guide furrows in row spacing of crops at cultivation and maintenance of crops. Proposed device contains furrower of blade-and-roll type installed on machine frame. Device is furnished additionally with runner-type furrower. The latter is secured on machine frame and is made in form of triangle with flat vertical fin with apex orientated downwards of triangle in cross section. Runner-type furrower is installed before support wheel of machine. Working width of blade-and-roll-type furrower is equal to width of tractor propulsion unit, being arranged on its trace and equipped with compressing rolls with conical caps. Such design improves accuracy of driving of agricultural machines in process of inter-row cultivation, increases service life of guide furrows and provides stabilization of direction of movement of agricultural aggregate only by its propulsion unit.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of driving.
