FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing individual cup in advance. Network fragments with metric characteristics known in advance are arranged on cup surface. The cup is fitted in the oral cavity and area occupied by bone tissue calculated from the number of network cells. The network fragments are applied to individual cup surface by means of milling machine with grooves being formed. The grooves are filled with radiopaque substance for carrying out plan radiograph. The area occupied by bone tissue is calculated from the number of network cells counted directly on obtaining the plan radiographs of face skeleton bones in direct projection and of mandible in lateral projections.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
