FIELD: wind power engineering, namely horizontal-axial wind-turbine plants with pneumatic system of transmitting power of wind turbine to user (electric generator).
SUBSTANCE: diffuser has annular slot for blowing-in outer wind flow and end flange. At rotation of wind turbine its useful power is used for pumping air inside hollow blades and for rotation through step-up reducer of compressor. Compressor has apparatus for controlling flow rate of air passing through it. In the result of common action of two stages of air compression (hollow blades and compressor) pressure lower than atmospheric one is set in pneumatic main line. It provides possibility of ground-based wind turbine to work due to pressure drop between atmospheric pressure and pressure in pneumatic main line. Turbine drives to rotation electric power generator.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of pneumatic transmission, increased factor of using wind energy, lowered mass of hollow blade due to mounting compressor between inlet of hollow blades and outlet of pneumatic main line and arranging wind turbine inside diffuser near its inlet.
