FIELD: underground engineering structures, applicable as a launching silo structure of advanced stability; provides advanced stability of the silo structure and simplified mounting and dismounting.
SUBSTANCE: the underground engineering structure has a protective device and a toroidal-shaped metal silo shaft. The silo shaft is made dismountable, has n inserts identical in dimensions, and is provided with a foundation whose diameter exceeds the diameter of any insert. The upper cut of each insert and the shaft foundation is imparted with an inner recess. The lower cut of each insert is provided with an outer recess that provides for a projection in the lower part of the insert. The depths and heights of the mentioned recesses of all inserts are respectively equal. The values of their diameters provide for assembly with an interference fit between the contacting surfaces of the inserts. The lower surface of the protective device is provided with a shoulder over the entire length of the circumference. The dimensions of the shoulder are equal to the dimensions of the mentioned inner recess that is positioned on the upper cut of the first insert. The upper surface of the protective device is positioned at the same level of the earth surface.
EFFECT: enhanced stability of the silo structure and simplified mounting and dismounting.
