GAS VENT DEVICE OF LAUNCHING SILO AND LAUNCHING SILO Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F41F3/73

Abstract RU 2316710 C1

FIELD: gas vent device of launching silo and launching silo proper.

SUBSTANCE: the launching silo gas vent device has an annular gas, conduit with as annular grate overlapping the gas conduit installed in the upper part. The annular grate is made composite of four similar annular segments by division of the annular grate by two mutually perpendicular planes, whose line of intersection is geometrically aligned with the longitudinal axis of the gas conduit. Each annular segment includes vertically arranged ribs installed respectively in the planes positioned in parallel with the vertical plane passing through the bisector of the central angle of the annular segment. Shaped blades providing a turn and discharge of the gas flows from the taking-off rocket are installed perpendicularly between the vertically arranged ribs. The launching silo has a silo structure with a protective device having a rotary cover installed in its upper part, the cover has the shape of a rectangle with sloped angles in plan. The gas vent device is mounted in the silo structure so that one of the vertical planes of the annular grate section is located in the plane perpendicular to the axis of turn of the protective cover.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of gas exhaust from the rocket take-off from the launching silo, which improves also the heat gas dynamics of take-off and, in the final analysis, enhanced the reliability of the launching silo of the gas dynamics type.
