FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: hydraulic press comprises table for setting die of the press tool, movable slide set in the guides of the housing, mechanism for moving the slide, and actuator for moving the slide. The actuator has two hydraulic cylinders. The mechanism for moving the slide is made of two shafts mounted in the horizontal openings of the slide for permitting rotation. The projecting ends of the shaft are provided with pinions. Each of the pinions moves over the pair of the gear racks. The racks are mounted vertically in the grooves of the housing for permitting adjusting movements with respect to each other with the use of screws. The actuator is additionally provided with two hydraulic cylinders and two arresters. Each of the hydraulic cylinders of the major motion is provided with unmovable rod which enters the dummy axial hole in the plunger to define an additional space for supplying the fluid. The plunger is provided with a pivot which projects out of the housing of the hydraulic cylinder. The pivot abuts against the slide. The rods of the hydraulic cylinders are provided with axial opening for supplying fluid. The spaces of the hydraulic cylinders of the major motion are connected with the additional tank mounted on the housing above the hydraulic cylinders.
