SUBSTANCE: proposed drive belt contains elastomer base with extension layers 1 and compression layers 2 made in form of separate members 5 located on cord layer 3. Coiled cords of cord layer 3 consist of independent threads, with space between threads filled up with elastomer.
EFFECT: increased strength and wear resistance of belt.
