TARGET ARRANGEMENT FOR TWIN COMPETITIONS IN RAPID FIRING Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: sports implements, in particular, target mechanical arrangements.

SUBSTANCE: the arrangement has two groups of targets positioned near, which differ by the height of disposition, and shields that can cover the non-affected targets. The holders of the targets and shields are fastened in sleeves fitted on a common axle. Each sleeve, but the first and the last ones, is provided with a pair of holders, one holder carries the target, the other - the shield that can cover the adjacent target. The extreme sleeves carry either the target only, or the shield only. These sleeves are coupled to the axle in such a way that they cannot turn around it. The arrangement is provided with magnetized plates holding the sleeves in one of mutually perpendicular angular positions - the initial or folded back as a result of target affection. With the aid of this arrangement it is possible to carry out twin competitions or the rapid affection of a group of targets.

EFFECT: the arrangement is independent of the electric power sources and can be used in field conditions.
