BUILDING METHOD FOR WATERPROOFING SCREEN Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: oil industry, particularly for oil field construction, namely to build collecting pit for storing waste products produced during well drilling.

SUBSTANCE: method involves excavating trench and waterproofing thereof with the use of film waterproofing material having weld seams facing outwards. The film waterproofing material has excessive dimensions necessary to form corrugations on collecting pit edge. Film waterproofing material is laminated with spaced adhesive polymeric strips glued thereto transversely to weld seams. Distance between the strips is not more than 3 m. Strip ends are connected to the outside of elastic polymeric web material. Collecting pit surface is covered with waterproofing film so that film edges extend above the pit. Connection areas of neighboring pits are wound in one dense roll having length of not less than 0.3 m. The ready roll is freely laid on trench bottom and pressed against the bottom with kentledge along the full length thereof with keeping channel permitting liquid to flow through the trench.
