FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrotechnical construction and can be used in creation of watertight screens on channels, and storage devices for various purposes. Method involves preparation of base 1 for watertight screen and laying of geo-membrane sheet 2. De-stacking of geo-membrane web 2 is performed mechanically, by means of tractor truck 3 equipped with device for suspension of rolls. Also, de-stacking of geo-membrane web 2, folded as harmonica 6, is carried out directly from tray 7 mounted on tractor trailed car 3. Preparation of base 1 for watertight screen consists in top soil cutting, removal of sharp-cornered and inadmissible by size soil particles (d ≥ 10 mm) from screened surface, rootstocks and other inclusions, moistening of base by means of sprinklers, base compacting with smooth self-propelled vibratory compactors in 2-3 passages. Geo-membrane web 2 is made of polyolefins waste, for example agricultural film waste, packaging film materials. Thickness of produced web is 2-4 mm, width of wed laid as harmonica is: 2-2.4 m, 4.3 m, 8.0 m.

EFFECT: proposed method allows to simplify design of watertight screen and improves technological effectiveness of works execution.
