FIELD: cutting processes and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame, cutting mechanism with drive unit and accumulator. Apparatus is also provided with drum having pivots and motor-reducer, drive unit of drum. Cutting mechanism includes movable cutter and unit for fixing cutter blade relative to drum. Drive unit of cutting mechanism includes differential reduction gear whose first receiving shaft is kinematically joined through worm reducer with electric motor; second receiving shaft is joined with pivot of drum though mechanical transmission and output shaft is joined with movable cutter of cutting mechanism. Other pivot of drum is mounted in output shaft.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and operational reliability, simplified design, lowered costs for of maintenance, increased useful life period, reduced energy consumption.
