FIELD: transport engineering; rail and reilless vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multipurpose wheeled vehicle includes chassis with steerable and driving wheels consisting of disks and tires and body with control cabin, steerable wheel control mechanism, air compressor and vacuum device using rarefaction in engine intake manifold. Additional all-metal wheels are rigidly secured at outer side of disks of driving and steerable wheels. Said all-metal wheels have profile rolling circle and flanges to suit rail head. Inner spaces of wheel tires are connected through control valve separately both to air compressor and to vacuum device operating on rarefaction in engine intake manifold. Outer diameter of wheel tires over rolling circle at gauge pressure of compressed air in tires exceeds diameter of rolling circle of said all-metal wheel, an steering gear is provided with interlock mechanism.
EFFECT: possibility of operation of roads, off-roads and rail tracks.
