FIELD: mechanical engineering; backrest rake adjusting and fixing device.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism designed to fix backrest in tilted position relative to seat consists of movable link with central bushing connected with fixed link by means of gear train consisting of internal teeth gear rim of movable link and external teeth gear rim of fixed link set into motion by two retainers in form of ring eccentric sectors arranged in central hole of fixed link to interact with carrier lever through narrow ends, and intercoupled by wide end with ends of ring spring installed in fixed unit. Carrier is made in form of bushing made of metal powder by sintering with central hex hole and with ring segment-shaped flange on which lever is arranged symmetrically relative to axis segment for interaction with narrow ends of ring eccentric sectors. Central hole of fixed link of mechanism is made stepped, ring flange of carrier being installed in wide part of said hole on end face of central bushing of mechanism movable link, ring eccentric sectors are installed in narrow part, and ring spring is arranged around ring flange of carrier, being intercoupled with ring eccentric sectors through holes on their wide ends. Mechanism is secured by link holders from two opposite sides along axis. When determining radius of ring flange of carrier, relationship is used R>r+e where R is radius of ring flange of carrier; r is radius of outer surface of central bushing of mechanism movable link; e is eccentricity of ring eccentric sectors.
EFFECT: simplified design of device, decreased play between members of backrest rake adjusting mechanism of vehicle, elimination of inertia vibrations of backrest relative to seat.
