FIELD: light industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining tensile force of thread by direct evaluation including mechanical measuring of thread tensile force at charging path in machine, said thread being moved relative to charging path members under the action of electric drive. Measuring apparatus for measuring thread tensile force has measuring device made in the form of clock-type indicator having scale gauged for measuring force. Micro electric engine is fixed on casing of apparatus for imparting motion to thread at different velocities. Thread runs around rollers, one of which is secured on rod of clock-type indicator.
EFFECT: improved quick-action and reliable preparing of sewing machines for operation owing to increased reliability of data obtained during determining of thread tensile force in charging paths.
