FIELD: target complexes, in particular, infrared systems of hit location.
SUBSTANCE: a TV photography of target is performed and a video signal is obtained that contains the rate of change of temperature for each target component, the points of strike are determined according to the excess of the threshold value of the rate of temperature range in these points. The device for realization of the method has an infrared chamber connected to the device of video signal processing and computation of the hit coordinates. The infrared chamber is made on pyroelectric crystals, which operate in the conditions of continuous exposition.
EFFECT: provided a high reliability of determination of the hit coordinates at a use of an infrared chamber following-up the target irrespective of the duration, intensity and close grouping of shots, conducting of fire by bullets or mall shots.
