FIELD: military equipment, missile units of jet projectiles.
SUBSTANCE: the missile unit of the jet projectile has a thin-walled body of a high-strength steel with an elongation of 13 to 16 calibers, nozzle and an aerodynamic stabilizer. The body on the main part of the length is made with a wall thickness of 0.014 to 0.016 caliber and an outside diameter of 0.98 to 0.99 of the caliber. In the tail section at 0.04 to 0.09 of the body length a wall thickening up to 0.023 to 0.026 of the caliber is made. The aerodynamic stabilizer and the nozzle are made in the form of a monoblock with a mass of 0.7 to 0.9 of the mass of the missile unit, rigidly coupled to the body of the missile unit, rigidly coupled to the body of the missile unit in the place of its thickening.
EFFECT: produced a missile unit of the jet projectile with an enhanced range of fire and a stable motion on the whole trajectory.
