FIELD: time combination double-action fuses, direct impact and time, actuated from inertial motion of mechanisms at an impact with an obstacle on expiration of the preset time interval from the moment of the shot determined by combustion of the powder component of the self-destruction mechanism.
SUBSTANCE: the nose fuse for small-caliber artillery cartridges has mounted in a longitudinal groove of the body a radial primer detonator, deceleration aid and a flash igniter connected by means of a pyrotechnical duct with the pricking self-destruction mechanism, including a spiral detainer positioned inside the movable bush mounted above the circular groove of the transverse crosspiece, and coupled to the impact reaction mechanism made in the form of balls placed in the radial ducts of the body inclined to the center from its peripheral circular groove closed with a cone fairing. The novelty is in the fact that the cone fairing is conjugate to the monolithic nose end face of the body, and the deceleration aid is made in the form of a membrane shutter of the longitudinal groove, closed from the bottom by a receiver with peripheral throttling openings, that is positioned directly above the primer-detonator.
EFFECT: enhanced destructive high-explosive action of the small-caliber artillery shell with nose fuse of a simpler design providing its burst behind the obstacle, inside the target.
