FIELD: combination fuses for shells of impact and time action actuated on expiration of the preset time interval from the moment of the shot, determined by the time of operation of the remote cocking mechanism actuated by the flow of fluid material.
SUBSTANCE: the nose fuse for small-caliber artillery cartridges has a body positioned in which in succession are the central rod pressing the end face of the conical fairing by the supporting head, axial striker spring, percussion primer, gate of the remote cocking mechanism changing over the central flame-transfer channel to the beam primer detonator closed by the safety lock, made in the body under the conical fairing is a peripheral circular groove with radial inclined slots. Positioned in which are the balls of the impact reaction mechanism of the axial striker spring resting on a spiral lock of the inertia cocking mechanism positioned inside the movable bushing installed above the circular slot of the mounting support. The novelty is in the fact that the gate of the remote cocking mechanism is made in the form of a loose granular material placed in the central flame-transfer channel having the shape of a reverse truncated cone, whose upper wider part is provided with windows confined from the outside by an inertia ring installed for longitudinal motion in the body, plugs of antifriction material are installed in the windows of the flame-transfer channel, and the generating line of the cone of the flame-transfer channel is inclined to the longitudinal axis by an angle exceeding the angle of natural slope of the granular material of the gate of the remote cocking mechanism, fine-disperse glass balls are used as the loose granular material of the gate.
EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of the nose fuse and safety in service handling in combat use.
