SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes optical unit, video signal shaper, first amplifier-converter and in addition delay line, clock generator, second amplifier-converter, first counter, second counter, first register, second register, third register, fourth register, unit for arithmetic and logic operations. Contours of images are marked out by means of successive procession of image line due to counting coordinates of left edge of light-contrast stripe, of right edge of light-contrast stripe and of its mean portion and comparing them with similar coordinates of previous reading.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of image processing.
