FIELD: shipbuilding; building of sailing vessels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sailing vessel has hull, at least one mast and rigging. Mast is made in form of cross which consists of two poles rigidly connected in center. Poles are secured on hull by means of shrouds or pyramidal structure mounted on hull. Hull may be of catamaran type. Two trapezoidal sails may be secured to yards and booms of rigging. Sails may be connected to mast guy end through yards. Sheets and tacks with whose help control of sails is performed may be connected to booms. Lower edge of sail is connected to block mounted on ship's hull.
EFFECT: balancing of sails; avoidance of effect of swirling from mast; enhanced stability of ship due low center of sail.
