FIELD: glues.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hot melt glues that are able to absorb aqueous liquids. Glue comprises from about 10% to about 50% of block-copolymer representing linear or radial copolymer structure of the formula: (A-B)_x wherein block A represents polyvinylarene block; block B represents poly(monoalkenyl) block; x means number of polymeric links and represents a whole number equal to 1 or above, and from about 20% to about 80% resin enhancing adhesiveness, and from about 1% to about 60% of polymer absorbing an aqueous liquid. Also, invention relates to absorbing article comprising moisture-penetrable upper layer, moisture-proof protecting layer, absorbing member between upper and protecting layers wherein moisture-penetrable upper layer or moisture-proof protecting layer is attached to absorbing member by the proposed hot melt glue. The prepared thermoplastic gluing material can be used for adhesion joining backings and for conferring additional moisture-absorbing capacity to nonwoven materials.
