SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the internal vessel in the housing, heating the vessel, displacing water vapor from the heat insulating space with the use nitrogen or dry air which may be hot or at the ambient temperature and supplied to the space permanently or repeatedly with an interval no less than 12 hours. After the completion of degasification of the space by evacuation, the internal vessel is cooled with liquid nitrogen down to the normal temperature. The amount of nitrogen required for cooling is determined from the formula proposed.
EFFECT: reduced labor consumption.
