FIELD: the invention refers to infantry weapon particularly to butts.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used in sporting rifles designed for sporting shooting earmarked for a special purpose under the conditions of the open and the closed shooting ranges. The essence of the invention is in increasing exploiting and ergonomic characteristics of the weapon at the expense of the fact that a groove is fulfilled in the butt of the gun-stock. Into this groove a holder of a sidepiece with grooves is installed. In one of them the base of the sidepiece with a through groove is put in. It allows to adopt the base of the sidepiece together with attached to it a sidepiece either for a left-hander so as for a right-hander. Besides the back plate has a holder of the base which has a groove of a " sparrow's tail" type and allows to regulate the disposition of the back plate along altitude. The holder of the base has also a horizontal cut, at the expense of this fixation of the vertical travel of the base of the back plate happens. The screws fastened on the base of the back plate, limit the travel of the back plate along altitude. Besides in the rear part of the butt there is a guide of the back plate with a holder of the back plate on which concentric cavities are fulfilled providing regulation of disposition of the back plate along horizon. At that a groove with asymmetric disposition is fulfilled in the back plate according to the holder of the back plate that allows at it resetting to adopt the butt as for a right-hander so as for a left-hander.

EFFECT: the invention increases exploiting and ergonomic characteristics of weapon.
