SUBSTANCE: small arms butt with the cheek and the butt pad, quickly-adjustable by height, comprises the cheek, the guides, the lever, and the spring-loaded element. The butt has vertical racks for the guides, fixed therein. The cheek is made in the form of a U-shaped metal plate pivotally connected to the spring-loaded lifting butt pad. The locking mechanism comprises the link vertically arranged between two front racks of the guides. At the upper link end the plate spring is fixed with the screw, having radius recesses at the ends bent upwards, the radius of which corresponds to the radius of the guides, abutting with its ends to the side surfaces of the two front guides and arranged in the longitudinal groove in the upper butt surface.
EFFECT: reducing the time for adjusting the height of the cheek and the butt pad of a butt, increasing the adjustment convenience.
