FIELD: metallization of piezo-ceramic surfaces; radio and instrumentation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes application of metal-containing paste on piezo-ceramic surfaces followed by burning this paste into surface by heating the piezo-ceramic components in electromagnetic field of RF standing wave. Piezo-ceramic components are placed in seats of cassette made from material at high tangent of dielectric loss angle. In placing the piezo-ceramic components in cassette, surfaces to be metallized are positioned at clearance relative to inner surface of cassette seats to ensure access of air to them; sections not coated with paste are positioned without clearance.
EFFECT: improved quality of metal coats.
