FIELD: separator used in vacuum-type garbage-disposal machines with liquid bath.
SUBSTANCE: separator for preliminary separation and removal of sucked particles has liquid bath, turbine for creating air flow, and cover. Separator is mounted on engine shaft and is provided with bottom, sealing ring and member equipped with turbine blades. Sealing ring is located on upper end of separator in spaced relation with respect to cover. Air flow guiding devices are provided on cover bottom for preventing air flow, droplets and contaminating agents from penetration through space between cover and sealing ring into turbine zone. Separator is composed of individual members or is made in the form of integral cylindrical or conical or conical stepped part. Device equipped with turbine blades is formed as turbine wheel with radial supports. Turbine blades are radially positioned on peripheral zones of radial supports in equally spaced relation and have outer part inclined in direction opposed to direction of rotation. Separator of such construction is free from deformation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating of particles and withdrawn liquid from air flow and preventing dust particles and other contaminating agents from settling on separator and getting into working zone of turbine, and safe operation.
