FIELD: separation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for separation of gas inhomogeneous systems using centrifugal forces. Centrifuge with vortex drive for gas cleaning comprises a rotor, including a drum, a column with channels for supply and removal of the cleaned gas, turbine-type pneumatic drive, consisting of a guide apparatus and an impeller attached to the rotor column, wherein the pneumatic drive is a centrifugal radial-axial turbine, its guide vane forms a rotating and conically diverging flow at the outlet from the central hole, the turbine impeller has blades and channels of the flow zone located at the same taper angle, and outputs the flow to the peripheral inner area of the rotor through the system of holes in the column made for each channel of the wheel. Centrifuge is equipped with a support plate with an axis fixed on it, on which a rotor is installed in bearings. Turbine guide vortex with tangential inlet channels is arranged on the support plate. From above the plate is covered with a cover, which forms a contactless cylindrical seal with the rotating rotor. At the bottom of the plate there are holes for gas supply to the swirler channels. For localization of flows supplied to and removed from centrifuge, there are two caps at the inlet and at the outlet, having branch pipes for connection to the gas supply and discharge system. To increase the separation efficiency, a separation insert is placed inside the rotor, consisting of a set of plates inclined to the radius at an angle α, which must be less than the angle of friction φ of particles on the plate, α<φ.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of centrifugal cleaning of gases and reduced power consumption for the drive.
