FIELD: transportation and storage of materials; cleaning tanks from solidified petroleum products. SUBSTANCE: method consists in delivery of jet of working agent which is moved over surface. Used as working agent are residues of petroleum products heated to viscosity of 4-60 sq.mm/s and supplied to reservoir through hollow rod inserted in this reservoir; said rod is provided with transversal branches terminating in nozzles which ensure escape of working agent in opposite directions at different pressure; hollow rod is secured in hole of reservoir for rotation along longitudinal axis at inclination from vertical axis of reservoir to angle of 45 deg. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to increased envelopment area; simplified construction. 2 dwg
