SUBSTANCE: method comprises circulating compressed cryogenic liquid through closed circuit for cooling and maintaining cryogenic liquid in the first and the second pipelines for pumping at a temperature for which it is in the liquid phase. The device is used for pumping cryogenic liquid between the first and second stations and comprises member for cooling the device when it does not pump cryogenic liquids. The first pipeline for pumping connects the first and second stations and its first end is positioned at the first stations and second end is positioned at the second station. The second pipeline for pumping connects the first station and the second station and its second end is positioned at the second station. The pipe connects the first end of the first pipeline with the first end of the second pipeline. One end of the inlet pipeline is connected with the pipe, and the other end can be connected with the pump for pumping at the first station. The device has valve in the inlet pipeline for opening and closing the inlet pipeline. The inlet of the first circulating pump at the second station is connected with the first and second pipelines. The outlet is connected with the other pipeline.

EFFECT: improved heat insulation.
