METHOD FOR COMPLEX PROTECTION OF FRUIT PLANTATIONS FROM GREEN APPLE PLANT LOUSE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, protection of plants from pests.

SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out in existing fruit plantations quick analysis for determining extent of damaging by green apple plant louse of trees of available sorts; providing reservation of two rows of disease resistant sorts of trees adjoining to forest strip for accumulation and adaptation of local entomophage population, free of protection from injurious organisms; accounting number of predacious and parasitic arthropods in green apple plant louse colonies and determining "predator-victim" ratio; controlling number of injurious insects on the basis of resultant data by spraying trees with biological and/or chemical preparations, with number of treatment operations depending on extent of damaging the sorts and level of efficiency of complex of parasites and predators present in green apple plant louse colonies.

EFFECT: provision for obtaining of ecologically safe fruits, increased efficiency in protecting of plants from green apple plant louses, reduced cost of method and increased safety.
