FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety of environment. Method involves taking samples, their microscopic analysis, analysis for the presence of microorganisms and detection of species as indicators showing excess value of permissible concentrations by chrome, zinc and copper. The excess of these values by chrome is associated with disappearance of the following species of microorganisms: Vorticella microstoma and Litonotus lamella, by zinc - Colpidium colpoda, Notommata ansata, Cathypna luna and Monostula cornuta and by copper - Epystilis plicatilis and Vorticella campanula. Method provides carrying out the exact and rapid determination of permissible concentrations of chrome, zinc and copper in sewage waters.
EFFECT: improved assay method.
