FIELD: keratin fiber protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to employment of enteric and contact poisons (insecticides) against keratophages to protect wool, silk, hair, feathers, and skin. In particular, in a known method comprising impregnation of wool, silk, hair, feathers, and skin with dildrin or endrin solution, impregnation operation is preceded by preliminary treatment of indicated materials with alcoholic or acetone solution of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane followed by air drying and heat treatment at 80-100°C for 10-20 min.
EFFECT: imparted resistance against keratophages.
