FIELD: electromechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed oil bath has U-shaped oil-cooler sections whose water lines are interconnected through pipe connections disposed inside bath body and rigidly fixed to body walls. Installed in top part of oil bath body are annular pipelines for cooling water supply and drain; each pipe connection is divided into two parts and one of them communicates on one end with annular water supply pipeline and other part communicates on one end with annular water drain pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of oil cooling in thrust-bearing oil bath, enhanced operating reliability of the latter.
