FIELD: electromechanical engineering; oil baths of water-wheel generator thrust bearings.

SUBSTANCE: proposed oil bath of water-wheel generator thrust bearing has built-in U-shaped oil-cooler sections whose water lines are interconnected through pipe connections disposed inside bath body and rigidly fixed to body walls. Oil-cooler sections are joined to mentioned pipe connections by means of intermediate branches, one side of each branch being rigidly fixed to oil-cooler section and other side is connected through disconnecting joint to pipe connection at its point of disposition in hole of oil-bath body wall, on its external side.

EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced operating reliability of oil bath.
