FIELD: screening equipment for agglomerate, coke and other bulk materials.
SUBSTANCE: screen plate is equipped with discharge openings formed as slots arranged in herringbone rows on plate. Herringbone rows are extending perpendicular to direction of flow of material under screening process. Angle α between longitudinal axes of slots and flow direction of material under screening process is 30-45°. Centers of semi-circles of similarly oriented ends of discharge openings in adjacent herringbone rows are spaced by distance F equal to (0.5-1.5) of distance h between axes of adjacent parallel discharge openings in row of openings. Discharge openings are widening from plate working surface at an angle of 5-7°. Working surfaces of discharge openings are surface strengthened through depth of 0.5-1.5 mm. Length of discharge openings exceeds width thereof by 2-10 times. Rows of discharge openings are arranged without offset or in offset relation with respect to adjacent rows.
EFFECT: increased screening efficiency.
