FIELD: foundry; manufacture of ceramic molds according to molten models.
SUBSTANCE: model is made from light alloy, for example Wood's alloy and positive electrical potential is fed to model which is lowered into electrolyzer containing phoretic suspension for forming the phoretic sediment of required thickness. Then, model is extracted from electrolyzer and phoretic sediment is dried and model is molten. Envelope thus obtained is molded in refractory filler, calcined and filled with molten metal.
EFFECT: improved physico-mechanical properties due to avoidance of lamination of phoretic layer; reduced labor consumption; reduced nomenclature of materials.
