FIELD: transport engineering; windshield wipers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed articulated mechanism has drive arm 20 rigidly connected with drive shaft with no slipping when turning relative to shaft and is hinge-connected through link 16 which rests on vehicle body, being installed for turning in its support 92. With windshield wiper blade carrying arm in initial position, drive arm 20 forms with connecting link 16 angle equal to approximately 90°, being made adjustable in position by turning around adjusting axis passing parallel to connecting link 16 and intersecting with longitudinal axis of drive shaft. Connecting link 16 is connected with rocker 22 by ball joint 32.
EFFECT: provision of optimum angle of wiper tilting.
