FIELD: suspension bridges.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of suspension bridges and pylons. Proposed transport system in form of suspension bridge is made at least of one mounting member and it contains at least one movable unit, pylons, device to take up outward thrust, carry and stress cables, horizontal cable, suspensions, braces and cross beams. Novelty according to first design version is that carry and stress cables are inter connected at points of their relative intersection, or are provided with ties in areas of maximum relative horizontal displacements of carry and stress cables, place of connection of carry and stress cables being found from given specifications. Novelty according to second design version is that two-tier suspension bridge is used as mounting member which includes pylons and devices to take up outwards through. Main tier consists of carry and stress cables, horizontal cable and suspensions, cross beams and tie between carry and stress cables in middle of span, and each following tier consists of carry and stress cables, horizontal cable, suspensions, cross beams with tie between carry and stress cables in middle of span, or consists of carry and horizontal cables, suspensions, cross beams, with tie in middle of span between carry and horizontal cables.
EFFECT: provision of maximum rigidity and stability of construction at reduction of its weight.
