FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: hanging bridge at least with three spans comprises a non-split stiffening beam, the main bearing cable, suspensions, anchor devices, a foundation, pylons and additional bearing cables in accordance with the quantity of bridge pylons. The main bearing cable at the ends is fixed with anchor devices to perceive the thrust, and in the support intermediate units it is connected with the upper part of the pylon stands, forming side and central spans of the stiffening beam, which by suspensions is connected to the main bearing cable. The part of each side span of the stiffening beam from the anchor device to the unit of its connection with the additional bearing cable and the middle part of the central span of the stiffening beam between units of its connection with the additional bearing cable are arranged of steel sections, and the stiffening beam between units of its connection with the additional bearing cable at each side of the bridge is made of reinforced concrete sections.
EFFECT: using the proposed design in hanging bridges with giant spans makes it possible to provide for their stable safety under any conditions of operation.
