FIELD: building, particularly for construction of bulk storage reservoirs with dome-like roofs.
SUBSTANCE: dome-like roof assemblage is performed on reservoir bottom. Method involves temporary welding suspension members to stiffening ring of the dome; engaging suspension members with load-handling consoles of hoisting units; lifting the roof by hoisting units through height of one belt along marking catchers; mounting the first belt from top thereof; lifting roof with the first belt through height of one belt; mounting the second belt and performing erection of all wall belts in accordance with above succession of operations; welding the last belt to bottom. Device for reservoir building comprises hoisting units, posts with braces and load-handling members. Hoisting unit is formed as worm-and-worm pair with reducer and electric drive. Power worm is vertically arranged on thrust bearing and journal bearing inside the post, wherein lower part of power worm with worm-wheel of the reducer has spline joint. Post is made as a tube with longitudinal slot to displace load-handling console fixedly connected with force nut. The nut is moved upwards and downwards by power warm in the post, wherein lower post side is fixed to frame of the device.
EFFECT: increased reservoir stability during assemblage.
