FIELD: valving engineering.

SUBSTANCE: half-ball valve comprises housing provided with semispherical space that goes into the opening for assembling. The housing has the opening for the rod in front of the opening for assembling. The opening for the rod connects the space with ambient. The first connecting opening is inclined to the axis of the opening for the rod. The third connecting opening is arranged in the horizontal plane at 90°, 180°, and 270°, beginning with the first connecting opening around the axis of the opening for the rod. The housing has outer semi-spherical contour. The housing space receives half-ball segment that can be opened and closed. In the open position, the first connecting opening is open. In the closed position, the first connecting opening is blocked. The ball segment has a passage that is connected with the first connecting opening in the open position, and it is inclined to the axis of the opening for the rod. The rod is made in block with the ball segment and connects control lever outside of the housing and ball segment. The rod passes through the openings for the rod. The lid of the housing has second connecting opening that is connected with the passage in the ball section. The lid is in conjugation with the housing for overlapping the space from the side of the assembling opening. The lid of the housing has the second connecting opening that is connected with the passage in the ball segment. The lid is coupled with the housing for overlapping the space from the side of opening for assembling. The seal is interposed between the outer surface of the ball segment and inner wall of the housing. The outer surface of the ball segment and inner wall of the housing are mating. The seal is made in block. The seal has flange that is bent outside and can be interposed between the housing and lid of the housing and locked by means of housing and housing lid. The diameter of the passage corresponds to the diameter of the first connecting opening, second connecting opening, and third connecting opening.

EFFECT: reduced sizes and enhanced reliability.
