FIELD: electrical engineering; magnetic clutches with engageable permanent-magnet rotors and conductors separated by air gaps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic clutch has first and second shafts with parallel axes of revolution; case or wiring unit disposed on first shaft about its axis of revolution; permanent-magnet rotor disposed on second shaft and passed into case in radial direction from second shaft; two electricity conducting parts resting on case or wiring unit for displacement and separated from magnets with air gaps on opposite ends of rotor; as well as air gap adjusting device designed for controlling axial position of electricity conducting parts of conductors in axial direction relative to case and for random variation of air gaps.
EFFECT: simplified design and facilitated servicing due air-gap adjustment system easy-to-use on site upon clutch installation.
