FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: rolling stand includes supporting construction designed for mounting in selected position along axial line of rolling mill. First and second rolling rolls have such profile and are arranged in such a way that to roll articles guided between them. Journals of first rolling roll are rotatably mounted in bearing assemblies arranged in first chocks. Second rolling roll is rotatably mounted by its journals in bearing assemblies arranged in second chocks. First and second chocks of each roll pair are coupled with supporting construction in such a way that to provide possibility for their rotation respectively around mutually parallel first and second connection shafts placed in parallel relative to roll axes and normally relative to axial line of rolling mill. Rolling stand includes also adjustment mechanism designed for simultaneously rotating first and second chocks of each roll pair in opposite directions around respective connection shafts for providing symmetrical adjustment of gap between rolling rolls. EFFECT: simplified design of stand, simplified procedures of mounting-demounting rolling rolls, chocks and adjustment mechanisms. 8 cl, 6 dwg
