BAIT Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bait has body in form of truncated hollow drop. Axle-drum with lops and locks is installed in hollow part for free rotation. Vanes are secured on locks for tilting through 90° in direction opposite to direction of rotation of drum axle, axle of rotation being installed square to vector of bait movement. High-frequency noise created at rotation of axle-drum and vanes and vibrations attract fish to bait from large distance and provoke biting, as said bait resembles movement of insects.

EFFECT: improved attraction of fish, increased catch, simplified design of bait, possibility of making of bait by angler from available materials.
