FIELD: glass cutting.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in cutting of sheet glass, both with straight and curved surfaces, along straight line and curvilinear line in industry and in homes. Device provides possibility of formation of crank on glass with even end face surfaces along straight or curved line of cut, along line previously made by glass cutter on even or curved surface of glass. For this purpose device is furnished with member for acting onto glass and handle. Member for acting onto glass is made in form of spiral coiled of electric conductor whose ends are connected, respectively, to ends of thermally uncoupling conducting posts whose other ends are connected to handle made of insulating material, being essentially electric contacts for electric conductors in handle and furnished with ON button. According to other design version, device contains member for acting onto glass made in form of electric conductors and additional electric conductors in number of n≥1 where n is natural number. Conductors are laid according to preset geometry on fireproof dielectric plate 9 with curvature of surface corresponding to curvature of surface of glass to be cut. Ends of electric conductors and additional conductors are electric contacts.

EFFECT: improved quality of cut glass.
