FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; cleaning vacuum spouts or intake pipes of pouring, hauling and vacuum ladles.
SUBSTANCE: prior to removal of aluminum and electrolyte from inner surface of ladle, vacuum spouts are separated and are placed in furnace; then they are cleaned by heating to melting and spontaneous flowing of aluminum and electrolyte from vacuum spouts at temperature of 700-1100°C by delivery and ignition of mazut-and-air mixture under pressure of 3-20 kgf/cm2 through mazut atomizers mounted on furnace body.
EFFECT: reduced labor consumption; increased service life of spouts due to melting aluminum and electrolyte clogged in them.
