FIELD: mining equipment, particularly auger cutting tools of narrow-cut mining machines used in production faces for underground mineral excavation.
SUBSTANCE: auger cutting tool has cylindrical body and loading blade with screw surface on which cutter holders with cutters are installed. Generator of the screw surface is curvilinear and has concave surface arranged from working blade surface side. Radius of curvature provides 40-50° angle defined between lines tangent to outer circle of screw blade and to blade generator in point of their intersection.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of auger cutting tool.
