BROADENING MECHANISM FOR SEWING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: sewing engineering, in particular, equipment for sewing machines with disk-type conveyors.

SUBSTANCE: broadening mechanism for sewing machine has broadening device fixed at end of shaft, whose other end is made in the form of fork. Finger is fixed in fork aperture so as to be adjusted in aperture of other fork located by means of terminal on intermediate pin. Adjustable terminal with spherical bearing is also fixed on said pin. Outer race of spherical bearing is rigidly fixed on outer race of other spherical bearing, whose inner eccentric is adjustably located on main shaft of sewing machine.

EFFECT: improved technical and operating characteristics, in particular, reduced power and inertial loads applied to main shaft of sewing machine and simultaneously increased rotational speed of shaft, simplified and quick adjustment of sewing machine and enhanced reliability in operation.
