FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: sewing machine has casing incorporating needles, zigzag mechanism, thread puller, shuttle, fabric advancing device with three-dimensional mechanism for moving rack in vertical plane. Three-dimensional mechanism is mounted in zone adjacent to sewing mechanisms, under needle plate on shuttle motion channel by means of fixed pin, carrying spherical lifting eccentric, which is embraced by lower spherical head of connecting rod, whose upper head is engageable with spring-biased arm. Rack moving mechanism is provided with device for limiting rotation of lifting connecting rod. This device is made in the form of projection on connecting rod and is adapted for engagement with annular bore in lifting eccentric. The latter is made integral with shuttle engine and rigidly fixed on shuttle drive gear hub. EFFECT: simplified assembling of machine, compact construction of three-dimensional rack moving mechanism and enhanced reliability in operation of machine. 6 cl, 7 dwg
